The horses
Smokey
Smokey is my first horse and my heart horse. In our 11 years together, I have shown him in 4h, Pony Club, and county fairs. Now he gets to teach the young kids including mine the ropes at his ripe old age of 24. He loves eating apples, watermelon, drink coffee and being the boss man of his herd. He also captures people's attention with his one brown eye and one blue eye.
Firebug
Firebug is my favorite horse to ride. She comes with lots of buttons and a fiery red headed attitude. In the past she was trained 3rd level dressage and jumping. She is great for the adults and teenagers that ride in my program as she likes to live life in the fast lane. She is a 17 year old saddlebred.
Pepper
DM Sampsons Pepper
Pepper is such an old soul at only 4 years. She is one of the most laid back horses I have ever met. While she hasn’t been used in any riding classes she has a bright future in our program. She loves to follow Smokey around in the pasture and considers him her big brother.
Daizy
Boss She's Gone
Daizy Mae is an ex racehorse, however, racing was most definitely not her thing. She loves living life in the slow lane and connects quickly with students.
